So it's the middle of the freakin' night, no point in going to sleep now, since I have to be up in 1 1/2 hours...*scowls*
Got my Ravelry shirt! Woo hoo!
Still working on all my Ravelympics projects! Boo! I'll stick some pictures up soon, when I'm not completely stressed and overtired...Maybe I'll even be able to Blog about why I'm stressed and overtired! Oh, and Oz? I'm still not pregnant! *snerk*
But I'm making some decent Ravelympics progress...I'm glad I picked some stuff to do in the WIP event...I'm just about done with the Contradiction needle case (just one pocket to sew on), though I seem to be pathologically incapable of following a pattern--I modified it to be two little pockets on one side and one big pocket on the other side...And I did the smaller pockets as little Babette-style squares...And I'm going to put crochet hooks in it, so it's not even a contradiction any more...*sigh*
I've finished sewing the handles on the felted granny square bags as well...Now I just need to re-felt them, and probably give them another going-over with the defuzzer thingy...
The Peruvia roses are almost completed as well...I liked those very much...It was very fun to learn to knit in a circle (basically) because as a Knitting Noob, I'd never been able to work out in my head exactly how you would knit a circle...I mean, I'd seen it, I just didn't get it...And, the little roses are so perfect for the little wool odds and ends I have left over from my A4A vests too...I always can use up the solid colors in a stripey vest or whatever, but I had a bunch of variegated yarn that I just couldn't work out an 'aesthetically pleasing' way to use in a vest, so this is great...They just need felting too...(I can tell what I will be doing on Sunday already...)
I'll be starting on a pair of Ravelympics socks soon as well...Provided the TSA doesn't steal my dpns...
