Well, would you lookit that...I finally got around to updating all the links, so that they actually go to the pages they're supposed to and not just back here...Hmmm...
Of course, now I have a whole bunch of cool new yarny Blogs that I want to add, so y'all can start taking bets as to how long it will take for me to get those going...*snort*
So, I've been thinking about doing the Knitting Olympics...(Yeah, I know the link is to the 2006 page, but I can't find a 2008 page...) But I can't quite decide what to do...I have a shawl/stole pattern I could do with the Handmaiden Sea Silk...That would be a challenge...But I'm skeered of it, and I'm not positive I could finish a whole lace stole in 2 weeks, being a Lace Noob and all...I'm toying with the idea of something along the lines of "Do X number of A4A vests", which could be a challenge, depending on what number stands for X...But that might be too easy...Ugh, I dunno...
I want something that is feasible to do in just over 2 weeks, won't make me insane, and that I already have the yarn/pattern for (or there is a free pattern--I is broke)...Maybe Ravelry will have the answer...

Stephanie isn't doing official knitting Olympics because she said knitting is a winter sport. I think the group on Ravelry is it.

What's an A4A vest?

Silly Harlot! The group(s) on Ravelry are huge and *way* into the Knitting Olympics!
And the A4A vests are the ones I make for Afghans for Afghans...I can't remember if I've brought any to BASK yet or not...I have them in my Ravelry project queue as a pretty much permanent fixture, though I haven't gotten around to putting up pictures yet...:(
